Our goal at Action! Library Media Service is to combine the ease and power of the internet with traditional “library jobber” services in order to provide Academic Libraries with a single source for their digital video needs.

Action! Library Media Service, LLC was created by Cherene Birkholz.

No stranger to the library industry, Cherene holds a Masters in Library and Information Science and has worked for several prominent library vendors, including: The Dialog Corporation, R.R. Bowker, and Coutts Library Services. Tuning into her customers’ needs brought Cherene to the realization that libraries do not currently have a convenient way to acquire DVD Media for their collections.

Action! Library Media Service wants to be responsive to your needs. We have designed our services to assist your library in acquiring the DVDs it needs to make your collection the best it can be.

We think we’ve come up with a better philosophy, but we will always be open to suggestions. There is always a chance to get a little better.
